I am based in the market town of Chippenham, Wiltshire, United Kingdom. The town is situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, 20 miles to the east of Bristol and just under 100 miles to the west from the centre of London. Chippenham is situated near to Junction 17 of the M4 Motorway. I am also within a handful of miles from the world famous Stonehenge and Avebury stone circles, The Roman city of Bath and film locations Castle Combe and Lacock which have been used over the years in epics such as Downton Abbey, War Horse, Harry Potter and Doctor Dolittle. Having been an operator since 1998, I operate Amateur Radio on analogue, digital and data platforms from either my shack or mobile.
