First licenced as a Class B holder in 1990 as G7HUM. Thanks to a good friend of mine, Bill G0NGE giving up his time encouraging (and teaching) me to learn morse I soon upgraded to a full licence. I owe Bill a great deal of gratitude for his help and support. Station conditions are a Yaesu FT-710 AESS with an end fed half wave antenna. Location is Leyland, North West UK. Interests are HF, DStar and DMR. Aviation and Marine radio monitoring.
