Licenced May 1973. Served in Royal Air Force from 1962 - 1986. RAFARS 4983 Worked in Local Government as District Emergency Planning Manager from 1987 - 2011. Lived in Lanzarote 2011 - 2016. Now retired and enjoying Amateur Radio. I volunteer to work in the RSGB's National Radio Centre (NRC) which is located at Bletchley Park on Wednesdays . This enables me to operate the special callsign 'GB3RS' . Active on 80m - 10m using: TS-890s - Palstar AT500 ATU. Antennas: 88.5ft Long wire (160m - 6m) and Double Bazooka for 40m. Active VHF/UHF FM using: IC-9700 and X7000 colinear at 8m. ID-52E with a Zum Elite 3.5 Hotspot on Dstar.
