Started playing radio in 1961 and joined the Leicester Radio Society in 63. Main interest was VHF/UHF and Television. Later built the first TV repeater and the first Data repeater and for my sins a new interation of GB3CF and GB3LE which was meant to become a part of a new network which we called Leicesterplex, but it was a bit too early in time. Experimented with 10m repeaters and microwave linear transponders before life intervened. A shortwave listener and experimenter at heart which still persists to this day. Main interests now, remote operation but a worn out brain makes this more challenging than it should be.
