I've recently (2024) returned to Amateur radio after a gap of at least 35 years, maybe more after life got in the way a bit. Despite the gap I was able to get my my original full license originally issued in the mid-80's reinstated by OFCOM without any issues.  First licensed (G6PUL) in 1982 and upgraded to the full license in 1984 after passing the 12wpm morse test.
