Ofcom have agreed that amateurs can use the letter R as a ‘regional secondary locator’ to mark the Coronation of King Charles III and Camilla, the Queen Consort eg GR5STU. Amateurs must get a Notice of Variation before doing so. The NoVs are available via a form on the RSGB website. The letter R can be used from 1 May to 30 Jun.
