My name is Max. I have lived up and down the East Coast in various places. My current QTH is in Glastonbury Connecticut about 8 miles outside of the Capitol. I use a number of radios for a number of different modes. My beacon runs on the 450D. I use a Xiegu (100% chinesium version) for POTA. I currently have my FT 891 set up with my MFJ 464 keyer and mostly used for CW. If you are talking to me via SSB voice, there is almost a sure chance it is on my IC-7300. I have two wire antennas due to restrictions...but they are pretty high up. My 4 bander EFHW is in an upside down 'L' with the long leg of the L about 60 feet up on a slight slope. This EFHW runs directly over a stream on our property and my SWR is lower than 1.7:1 across all of the advertised bands plus the others with a tuner. My G5RV is also up about 50-60 feet in an old oak tree. I have the legs as far out as they can go, terminating about 8 feet off the ground at the lowest point. Looking forward to our next QSO!
