First got interested in radio when I was in high school after building a crystal-set radio that my dad got me. Some years later I played with marine radio as my wider family lived near to the coast and it was widely used for comms onshore. I sat my Novice 'B' building a 14Mhz RX '2E1CDV' & Novice 'A' 5wpm CW '2E0AJY' back in the 80s (Thanks to G3SDY) and then moved onto the RAE and 12wpm in the early 90s and got the callsign I'm active with today 'M0AIA' Main interest in the hobby are :- Portable, back-pack, mobile testing home made antenna's. QRP, QRO, CW/SSB on HF & VHF
