Hi, I am Ben. So I not long after getting my full licence, I had to "temporarily" take my station off air due to house renovations. Fast forward 10 years... And here I am just getting back into the swing of things. I have decided to document my return as well as the other things I am into on my YT channel. Some things I am into... Sound, HiFi, Electronics, Radio Projects, Car maintenance, House maintenance, Home automation, Networking (the TCP/IP type), Outdoors adventures, Hot air ballooning (I'm training to become a pilot). | Amplifier | SPE Expert | 1K - FA MK3 | The SPE - Expert is a solid state 160-6m fully automatic linear with a built in tuner. I must say, this was not a cheap bit of kit. But I can see why, it is known for having robust safety features that means they are reliable workhorses. Favoured by many contest stations. It works seamlessly with my station, no need to tune up when changing bands or frequency. I have not had it long, but so far this thing it working well. It is nice to have the headroom and punch when needed. | ★★★★★ |
