First licenced around 2010, took some time away from the hobby due to my career, now I'm back enjoying the bands. Mostly active on 20m, enjoy DX with a special interest in special event stations I run a half sized G5RV with a small vertical HF antenna tuned for the 7mhz band . Radios are a modest Kenwood TS570d and IC706. Enjoying learning about FT8 and digital modes although I am not set up to use these as of yet. Currently studying for my intermediate licence. QTH is south coast united kingdom near to the city of Portsmouth which is home to the royal navy.
