My name is Nick (Nicholas) and have been interested in RF for many years now but took a hiatace from the hobby in around 2019 but now back into the hobby full swing! Working in Information Techonolgy and data security for many years for both British and multinational companies specialising in banking systems and Firewalls including secure communication systems for government and NGOs. My other passion is photography and I am an internationally recognised stills photographer, my images have been used for national and international news outlets including Time Magazine, Life and more. My cameras include the excellent Leica Q2, Lecia Q3 and Fujifilm range of cameras, asscociated lenses and digital darkroom applications. I use an Icom 705 for QRP work, up to a massive 10 watts! Now I've re-installed some M&P Buryflex 7 cable under our lawn and patio to make it a permanent install, attached to my 73ft long wire antenna attached to the excellent Chameleon balun, 73s.
