Hi, I’m Paul (2E0PNJ) My love for radio began back in the classic days of CB and never left me. Decades later, the fascination is still going strong. I live in beautiful Torbay with my wife Jo and our loyal dog Archie. When I’m not on the airwaves, I work as the Director of EMEA for a major American software company—a role that takes me all over the world. Outside of work and radio, I’m a Senior Instructor and multiple black belt in Kenpo Karate, a discipline that keeps me grounded and focused. Space is tight at my QTH, so my setup is as stealthy as it gets. I currently run a Yaesu FTDX101MP paired with the M-1 microphone. My antenna? A wildly improvised end-fed UNUN random wire that zigzags from the roof to a shed and around the fence. It may look chaotic, but it delivers surprisingly strong results—even at QRP levels!
