I'm new to amateur radio, I passed my foundation exam in March 2021. I started off using a radio scanner when I was a young lad, then began to explore radio purchasing a cb radio to try out and see if the hobby was right for me since then I have been hooked. I have made contacts all over Europe during my time using cb radio but decided I wanted more from the hobby, thats when I decided to take my foundation license. QRP is a big interest of mine and something I wish to explore further. 'm currently active on DMR using a Ailunce HD1 with a raspberry Pi and MMDVM HAT. For HF currently using a Yeasu FT-891 along with EFHW. Living in Norfolk I like to get out and about walking with the dog doing some photography, which is another interest of mine.
