I've been interested in radio, from a young age, ever since I had an electronic projects kit for Christmas, that included a crystal ('cats whisker'-germanium diode) radio. C.B. radio (27/81) from 1982. 11 Meters from early '90's. HAM Radio Foundation passed July 2021. My taking the HAM licence, is due entirely to being introduced to Zello by M6FZI Mark, which led to being introduced to, and included on, the '27.305 CB Chat' Zello channel, (originally set up/publicized by 'Fred in the Shed' and friends from YouTube) and from that, joining the G8 AMC Radio Club. The people on their have encouraged each other, and so many others, to 'take the leap' and progress. I am primarily an 'aerial/conditions man', but love it all.
