Passed my foundation licence in October 2024. Slowly starting to build up my shack and have dived down the rabbit hole that is antennas!!! I have now decided on a Dx commander classic +80. I bought a Yaesu FT-5DE and have been listening to airband and local repeaters where possible but I am in a bit of a dip! So have connected to wires- x with the Yaesu and am finding it quite fun. I finally purchased an FT-DX10 for HF and the FT-5DE for UHF/VHF. I Am studying for my intermediate now so I can up the power a little. Hopefully it will all work out and I will meet you in the air. 73 for now.
