Born in 1972 in Liverpool, England, I first got the radio bug back in the 1980s when the 11-metre band was buzzing with voices and skip. That early fascination never left me — I’ve had a lifelong love of radio scanners and air-band listening, spending countless hours tuning into distant signals and aircraft chatter from all over the world. These days, I’m proud to be on the amateur bands as M7JQP, still learning, tinkering, and enjoying every moment of the hobby. A special thank-you to my wonderful wife, who’s patiently put up with all the radios, wires, and late nights in the shack — and to our big family of three sons and five daughters, who make sure there’s never a dull moment!
