I'm a UK Foundation licence holder, limited to 25W, but that hasn’t stopped me from working Australia, Japan, and North America on 10m SSB using an EFHW and a modified CB antenna! As of Dec 2024, I’ve added a Cushcraft MA5B (currently at 10ft to keep the neighbours happy). I earned my first callsign on St George’s Day 2024 but have been a longtime radio listener. I enjoy HF, digital modes, and tuning into Hubnet UK. Beyond radio, I’m a cybersecurity student at the Open University, a motorbike and cycling enthusiast, and the proud owner of three chaos-powered dogs. 🔹 Radios: Yaesu FT-991A, FTM-100DE 🔹 Antennas: UK Antennas EFHW, Cushcraft MA5B, verticals for VHF/UHF, 10m, and 6m 🔹 Handhelds: A mix of trusty Chinese HTs Still learning, still experimenting—that’s the beauty of the hobby!
