Hello my name is Louis, born in 1969 and I live in the city of Arnhem, east part of The Netherlands and it is situated about 25 km from the border with Germany. I am working as a field service engineer in telematics, security systems and telecom. I started the radiohobby on CB radio when I was 14 years old. In 2008 I graduated for my license. My equipment: Yaesu FTdx-10 (with the XF-130CN 300Hz CW filter) with SP-30 speaker for HF, and the Yeasu FT-991A with SP-10 speaker for VHF/UHF, no amplifier, just the power of the radio's. For portable use i have 3 handhelds, the Quansheng UV-K5(8), a Kenwood TH-F7 and a Baofeng UV-5RIII. Desktop microphones: Yaesu M90D & MD-100 Headset: Heil Proset Elite 6 Accessories: Heil FS-3 Footswitch, Yaesu FH-2 Keypad, K-PO DG-503 digital SWR/power meter. My antenna for HF: EndFed multiband MKIII from the HyEndCompany for 10, 15, 20, 40 & 80 meters (23 meter version), 18 meters above ground level in a horizontal position.
