Hello and welcome! My name is Lars-Erik, callsign SA0LEK, located in Sweden. I have recently upgraded my license to HAREC, and at the same time changed my callsign from SH0LEK to SA0LEK — so if the old callsign looks familiar, that’s why. I’m still learning every day, so thanks for your patience if I’m a bit rusty on the air. My main focus is QRP / low-power operation (typically around 10–20 watts), experimenting with different portable setups, and seeing how far I can get with limited power. I operate a lot of digital modes and enjoy exploring their possibilities on HF. I’ve also started to dip my toes into contesting, mainly as a way to improve operating skills and learn more about propagation and efficient operating. I’m getting into POTA activations, enjoy HF operation, chase some DX, and like trying different modes and activities as I go.
