My name is Rob, (VK2OMG), and yes you are reading this right, this is my true call sign, and I know it is unusual, But sometimes life is not always meant to be normal. even in Amateur radio, My partner Jan and I live in a wonderful place called Young, On the South West Slopes in NSW, Australia, Jan is also an Advanced call and her call sign is (VK2AAZ) I have been into the radio hobby for many years in England where I was born, and over here now in Australia, where I reside. My ultimate goal would be towards QRP, there is nothing more rewarding than talking from one side of this planet where we live to the other side only using 5 watts of power and a piece of wire thrown up precariously in an overhanging branch of a tree.
