SM Pro version 3.17.2 or above required - Contesting support is in BETA so only use it if you are happy that things may not be perfect.
To get version 3.17.2 you will need to go to Settings / Updates and select BETA Updates, then restart SM. After a few seconds it will prompt you to install the update. Once you have that update installed you can follow the steps below:
1. In Settings ensure these are set correctly: ITU ZONE (e.g 27), CQ ZONE (e.g 14), DXCC (e.g 223), CONTINENT (e.g EU)
2. In Settings set CONTEST_ID to "CQWWSSB"
3. In Settings click "Create New Log Book" and call it CQWWSSB_2025
4. Save and Restart SM
5. Click Log Template (top menu) and select the 3rd option "Send Fixed Value, Receive Serial Number or Exchange" , enter your CQ Zone when asked for a fixed value.
6. Open the Score Summary widget from the widgets menu.
You may also want to go to Settings > Clusters/Bands and set a band filters to only show you contest bands
You are now ready to start logging

At the end of the contest, export the full ADIF log and upload that to CQWW using their ADIF to Cabrillo converter.
You can then switch back to the normal log template and log book database, you can then click IMPORT from cloud to sync the contest contacts into your normal log book.
