SM Pro version 3.17.7 or above required - Contesting support is in BETA so only use it if you are happy that things may not be perfect.
Download this version (or newer) from the Discord -win or -mac channel
1. In Settings ensure these are set correctly: ITU ZONE (e.g 27), CQ ZONE (e.g 14), DXCC (e.g 223), CONTINENT (e.g EU)
2. In Settings set CONTEST_ID to "UKEI2025"
3. In Settings click "Create New Log Book" and call it UKEI2025
4. Save and Restart SM
5. Click Log Template (top menu) and select the option "Send Serial Number, Receive Serial Number + Exchange".
6. Open the Score Summary widget from the widgets menu.
7. If you are concerned about "self-spotting" please select "Contesting" from the Run Mode menu to hide your frequency in the main user list on the website, the frequency of your contacts is automatically hidden in other places on the main feed.
During the QSO you will give out the RED serial number + your district code (which you will just have to remember). In the UK this is the likely the first two letters from your POSTCODE.

You may also want to go to Settings > Clusters/Bands and set a band filters to only show you contest bands
You are now ready to start logging

At the end of the contest, export the full ADIF log and upload that to UKEI2025, you may need to use an online tool to convert to Cabrillo format.
You can then switch back to the normal log template and log book database, you can then click IMPORT from cloud to sync the contest contacts into your normal log book.
