How we get the personal information and why we have it
All of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- to create your online account and profile on station-master.online
- to access your QRZ logbook via their API
- to send you transactional notifications and alerts
We use the information that you have given us in order to provide amateur radio related services via station-master.online and station master desktop.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
- (a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting [email protected]
- (b) We have a contractual obligation.
- (c) We have a legal obligation.
- (d) Legitimate interest.
How we share your personal information with third parties
We may share your information with the following third parties to provide and improve our services:
- QRZ.com: To access and sync your logbook data via their API.
- Clublog.com: To allow you to sync your logbook data.
- LoTW (Logbook of The World): To sync your logbook data.
- eQSL: To sync your logbook data.
- HamQTH: To sync your logbook data.
- CQRLOG: To sync your logbook data.
- HRDLOG: To sync your logbook data.
We only share the necessary information required to perform these services. Your data will not be sold to third parties.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored on dedicated Servers hosted by FastHosts.
We keep account profile data, login credentials and API keys for as long as your account remains in good standing. We will then dispose your information by permanently deleting it from our database.
Public Domain Information and Third-Party Data
Some of the information displayed on our platform is sourced from public domain and third-party logging platforms, including QRZ.com, HamQTH, POTA, and others. This information is displayed in good faith to enhance the user experience for system users. While we strive to ensure the accuracy of this information, we cannot guarantee its completeness or correctness. If you notice any discrepancies, please contact us so we can address them.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
- Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
- Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
- Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

Children's Privacy
Our platform is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 16 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our service and hold certain information.
