The name is Logan and I live in Haletown, TN (Guild) just a few miles to the west of Chattanooga, TN on the Tennessee-Alabama-Georgia state tri-corners along Nickajack Lake and the Tennessee River. I work in both commercial radio broadcasting (both on-air and as a broadcast engineer) and also in I.T. and Assistive Technology for my local school system's Exceptional Education department. I'm a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE / Nashville Chapter #103)) and hold my Certified Broadcast Technician (CBT) certification from them. I've been a Ham since 2001, licensed originally as a Technician with the call-sign KG4PYY. I obtained my vanity call in 2002, upgraded to General in February 2013, and Extra Class in February 2014. My late father, Fred (KD4ATW-SK), was licensed in the early 1990s after being interested in ham radio since he was a child in the 60s...and as many sons do I followed in his footsteps and entered ham radio.
