RM Noise

Hi Stu I have been playing with this today after talking to Andy yesterday. Using my FT857 I used a 3.5mm jck plug out of the external speaker jack into the mic of my PC. I got it working but alot of hum in the audio and have been trying to get rid of this. it does work well but I found that the volume on the radio had to set just so as it seems to distort the audio if set too high. When I transmitted I got bad feedback through my headphones. How did you set yours up? I have a data out jack in the back of the radio I'm not currently using and wondering if I can use this to plugin nto the PC to take a line out. it's a feast bit of software and I will use it for sure if I can overcome the issues I have. cheers Simon M0SCS
